Justins Peanut Butter Cups Heart

Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups Heart: Valentine’s Day Gift Idea

Howdy everyone! A couple of months ago I did a posting about Justin’s and how much I fell in love with their peanut butter cups and peanut butter (Justin’s Nut Butters & Snacks). So after much thought I finally came up with a great idea for a Valentine’s Day gift using the dark and milk chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. If you don’t know the story behind Justin’s, I would like to tell you once again because it is such an amazing story.

The journey of Justin’s products has very humble roots. Justin being a vegetarian and not finding what he was looking for in regular old peanut better decided to start working with different nut butters. He would make his tasty creations and put them in jars in the cabinet, only to find that his roommates were eating the butters he had made! So he decided to start writing his name on the jars and from there is where Justin’s story begins. How funny is that??

Anyways back to my little idea. I always get side tracked!! When I was younger my grandfather would always give me wonderful Valentine’s Day gifts. One year he took my favorite candy bar and made a huge heart out of it. He used tape to stick the candy on a piece of wood. To this day, that is one gift that I still remember. I wish so much I would have taken a picture of it before I ate it.

So playing on that idea, I used the Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups to make a heart. I used my Silhouette and a free design this month to create this cute little gift that would be perfect for anyone. Even if you don’t have a Silhouette let your imagination run wild!!I used two bags of Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups, one dark and one milk chocolate. I then used a piece of scrap paper that I had that looked like light wood. I used crafting tape to adhere the chocolates to the piece of scrap paper. Once these were good and stuck on the paper, I then cut a piece of wood to go behind the scrap paper so that it would not be so flimsy.

Sometimes the simplest gifts that you receive are the most memorable. The best part about this project is that I actually had about three left over so that I could have a little snack while making this little Valentine’s Day gift. Justin’s Peanut butter Cups are just the perfect amount of sweetness. You can find Justin’s products at several supermarkets as well as online. Use their handy store locator to find the nearest store to you!!
