Introducing First Honey: Manuka Honey Healing Products

With fall coming and the leaves already starting to turn here in the mountains, I find myself getting outside more as the leaves turn. Heading up the hills and just checking out nature away from the heat of the summer. When I say “heading” up the hills, sometimes that means to fall down the hills, tripping on those pesky fallen branches from storms, and well, just being the clumsy self that I am. Today I wanted to introduce you to a product that I honestly, have never heard of, but when I got the email, I was impressed, to say the least and wanted to share this with you.

First Honey

First Honey, is something that I never would have known about if it were not for that one simply email that changed my look on Honey altogether, in particular, Manuka honey, which is infused into the First Honey products.

In the small town of Masterton, New Zealand, beekeeper, nature lover, and scientist, Denis Watson and his son Daniel, have dedicated themselves to providing the highest quality honey harvested from the powerful nectar of the native Manuka flower.

Through research and innovation their global team of chemists have uncovered the unique nourishing benefits found within Manuka honey. From these discoveries First Honey® was born. Created for the moments in everyday life when you need safe and effective care for the ones you love.

Not until after doing a bit of research did I find out how important Manuka Honey is and actually how long it has been used. Honey in general according to one article has been used since ancient times to treat and heal wounds. In fact, Manuka Honey can actually reduce the healing time considerably(1) when it comes to wound care, and if you are anything like me, this is amazing! I heal really slow!

First Honey, offers a little selection of products online on Amazing such as, Adhesive Bandages, Sterile Honey Ointment, and a Skin Therapy Cream. All of these products have a 12+ grade which means that the measurement of the natural chemical characteristics within the Manuka honey, which assures its purity and efficacy.

I guess it is a good thing that I have not had any boo-boo’s to check out the ointment or bandages but I must say they are lush. I did, in fact, try out the skin therapy cream on a couple of really dry spots on my body, and I can’t believe how much softer they feel. WHERE HAS THIS STUFF BEEN HIDING?

You can purchase all of these products on Amazon and I really think they are worth taking a gander at. I am thrilled with the skin therapy and even have my husband using it. I will update the posting as soon as I get a chance to check out the bandages but I did take them out of the package and they look amazing. I love that they are a better quality when it comes to the material used than a regular band-aid you might find in your cabinet, not to mention they seem like they would not fall off every five seconds.

The bandage on the top is the First Honey!!
