First off, let me tell you about my experience with the Raid Ant & Roach Killer with Essential Oils. Anytime that I am looking at products to bring into my home I want to know what is in them and are they safe for pets when used as directed.
Having two fur babies, Ricky and Ike are the loves of my life. I would not want to introduce anything into the home that might harm them and that is why I chose Raid Ant & Roach Killer with Essential Oils. When used as directed this is not only safe for your pets but your children as well. The product is made with lemongrass extract & geraniol synthesized from pine trees.
Not only is it safe if used as directed but the product is fast acting as well. I used this on one of the more troubled spots in our home, the dining room. I don’t know why but the ants just love it back there. I can already tell a huge difference.
My home is literally a fur baby home. Everything in our home is designed with our dogs in mind. From the steps to every piece of furniture being “older dog-friendly”. So don’t mind the mess in the background, I am one of those bloggers that is not perfect.
I have always felt that there are several layers to solving our bug problem. In conjunction with the Raid Ant & Roach Killer with Essential Oils, I also decided to use the Raid Ant Baits. Ant Baits are extremely popular when it comes to pests in your home, especially ants. We have used Baits for years and they work very well.
One thing that I was always worried about when we first moved here and began using Raid Ant Baits is that my dogs would chew them or bother them, but they didn’t. I just make sure that I put them down where they really can’t see them and we are good to go.
They are also child-resistant, which is a huge comfort to families. Another huge point about the Raid Ant Baits is that they do work consistently for 3 months, so I simply write on my calendar when it’s time to change them out. There is also a place on the bottom side where you write when it was placed.
It is actually really simple how these Raid Ant Baits work. For three months, what happens is that the ants feed on the bait, the ants then return to the colony and transfer the bait to the queen and the others, thereby killing the entire colony. Thus killing off the colony will help you keep control of your ant situation.
