I don’t know about you but I think I am about ready to go bonkers in quarantine. Nothing is open and there is no place to really go. Almost every day you will find me in sweats and a teeshirt looking for something to do. Today I would like to share a Rae Dunn project that I did with my Cricut Joy. I just love how this came out.

I am sure in your closet you will find sweatpants or yoga pants that are just plain Jane. I decided to take a pair of my pants and customize them using the Joy using one of my favorite fonts “The Skinny”.

Since I literally run on coffee and Dunn I thought this was really a great way to wear what I love!

Using the Cricut Design Space, which is totally easy to use, I came up with a little design which you can use here.

As many of you know I just adore the Cricut Joy because of the tiny foot print and huge power it has to do just about anything from creating home decor and so much more.

What You Need For This Project:

  • Cricut Joy
  • Cricut Joy Smart Iron-On ( I used the blush rose but you can use any color)
  • EasyPress
  • A pair of sweats or yoga pants

To get started first login to your Cricut Joy Design Space and open up the template that I have created for you. If you need a Rae Dunn Style font you can download it here for FREE.

Once you have my text ready to print on your Smart Iron-On, which is so easy to use! Hit Make it! Make sure that you mirror the image since you are using Iron-On. Also, be sure to make sure that you have enough Smart Iron-On to print.

Another thing to remember is that make sure that the glossy side of the Smart Iron-On is facing down.

I made mine rather large, but you can always resize.

Next, You will want to weed your text.

Since I am using the Joy I did have to put the words together, which is no big deal at all. I simply cut out each word and placed them on the pants.

I did the “I run on Coffee” first. Then the “and Dunn”

Again, I used the Cricut EasyPress which is the most convent way to adhere letters to fabric or just about anything. Once you set the timer you are good to go. Because of the fabric that I used I ran it twice.

I really adore how these came out and I LOVE the large letters. Even my husband liked them which is saying a lot.

This is just a super simple little project you can do to show your Rae Dunn Spirit even while you are in quarantine. I do hope that you check out this amazing project and happy creating.
