Must-Have Summer Travel Tech With Verizon
I don’t know about you, but I am so happy that warmer temps are here, but in the mountains of NC, it has actually been really chilly at night. This morning when I woke up, it was 43 outside. Wowza! That was a wake-up call. So let’s get down to it. Today I wanted to share with you a round up of products that are perfect for summer travel this summer from Verizon. As most of you know, I switched to Verizon last year, and it was the best thing I could have done. Even where I live in BFE I have service, how cool is that?!?!
Over the past couple of years, I have worked with Verizon showcasing some of their products their offer and I must say I have never been disappointed. This year round-up of Summer Travel Must-haves really hit the mark no matter where you are going or what you are doing. More than 80 percent of American families with children under the age of 18 say they are taking a summer vacation this year, according to a recent study by NerdWallet. In fact, the Family Travel Association predicts an eight percent growth in the $150 billion family travel market in 2018.
When it comes to my HOT PICK of a smartphone this year, I am totally crushing on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus because there are so many fun things that you can do with it not only that but it literally can become a total option instead of taking your laptop with you. Check out the post here to learn more. The S9 Plus also offers the Bixby translation literally with a click of a button. Many of us will be traveling to different countries, and this is a huge plus!
Do you travel with multiple suitcases? I know that I always forget which suitcase has what and this is where the Tile comes in handy. With the Tile Sport and Tile Style’s 200 foot Bluetooth range you can easily locate your most valuable items that may get lost in the travel shuffle. Use your smartphone to locate your keys/luggage, or use the Tile Sport to make your phone ring (even if it’s on silent). If you are going to be out of town for awhile one thing that you really should have is a great camera. The Ario Go is just that! What I like about this camera the most is that you still can live stream to your phone even if the wi-fi goes out on the Verizon network. With storms during the summer, this is a HUGE plus. This camera is super simple to set up and works day or night so your always getting the best possible image.
Of course, I have to throw in a Bluetooth speaker because let’s be real a vacation is not a vacation without amazing music. I have actually used the UE Wonderboom before, and I own one as well. This speaker is waterproof so even if you are at the pool or beach you can take this with you. You might look at the size and think, “wow. That’s small!”. Yet this small but powerful, able to fill a room with crisp, immersive sound so that you can share your favorite tunes with all your friends.
The second to last product and certainly not the least is the Samsung Samsung Gear 360 camera. You can take360-degree photos of popular tourist destinations and beautiful landscapes during your summer travels. This baby is totally amazing, and I actually have a couple of videos going live soon showing you just how this works, but I wanted to get this round-up done this week so that you can pick up some of these items.
For me, this is the best way to capture memories and really relive them again and again. Capture memories with Gear 360 and then relive them later with GearVR. Simply upload your 360° photos or videos to the Samsung VR app, then place your Galaxy phone into the GearVR headset. That simple. You will be back to your favorite destination all over again.
Lastly, for those long plane rides, I would suggest checking out the Bose SoundSport Free which sounds amazing. I love that they come in a little case that is actually the charger as well. I used these the other day when we went to go pick up our camper, and I am in love. On one single charge, you can get about five hours of music which was plenty for me. I would also say that these totally blow the Beats headphones away when it comes to sound if that gives you a clue. I wish I could let you hear these!! They are also sweatproof 🙂
