Buyers also want kitchens that provide eating space for all the family. It’s not just about family meals, but also providing space to work and for kids to do their homework.
The easiest way to build an eat-in kitchen is to add a central island. However, if you don’t have enough space, you can also construct a bar with stools near the window.
If you don’t even have space for that, you can sometimes knock through walls and construct arches that join the kitchen to the rest of your home. This opens up more space for secondary eating areas, but it will cost you.

Traditionally, architects placed bathrooms upstairs to provide more room for communal spaces on the ground floor. However, that’s changing. Today’s parents want bathrooms on the ground floor so that they can check on their children while cooking dinner.
If you want a bathroom on the ground floor, you’ll need at least forty square feet of free space. Opt for things like sliding doors and non-slip mats for convenience and safety.

Believe it or not, exterior lighting is one of the most desirable home improvement features out there. Homeowners want to draw attention to their properties,lighting them up from the front so that they look beautiful.
