The Looks: Personally I prefer the Catalyst case over the OutterBox for one reason. I chose my iPhone 6 Plus in rose gold because I like the rose gold! Using an Otterbox, I literally can’t see any of the phone’s color or features. The Catalyst uses a clear housing so that you can still see the style and beauty of the actual phone. Also when it comes to the looks one feature that I really adore is the little wheel on the side of the case. You can use this to simply turn your ringer on or off. For me this really comes in handy and is a great little side feature not available on any other case I have seen.
Waterproof: Both the Catalyst and the Otterbox is waterproof to a point, but one out does the other. The Catalyst has been tested 16.4 meters whereas the Otterbox is tested at 6.6 Feet. This can be a huge difference if you plan to be near the water or spend your summer at the beach. Taking this into consideration I feel that the Catalyst out preforms the Otterbox in this area.
Camera Cover: Another point that I really like versus the OtterBox is that the Catalyst offers a shield over camera itself. This protects the camera lens against scratches which are bound to happen.
In all, I really think that the Catalyst line of cases are the better option when it comes to your investment in your phone and protection.
