Hershey’s is a brand that is known widely throughout the United States. It brings smiles and memories to almost everyone, including me. I don’t think that an Easter went by as a kid, when I did not receive Hershey items in my basket. I think the most iconic and favorite of all their Easter candy had to be the Cadbury egg. Oh, that delicious, melt in your mouth sweet explosion. Hershey actually owns the rights to make Cadbury products here in the United States and I could not think of a better company to make them. No basket is complete without a Cadbury Creme Egg!
There are also other great products to include in your Easter baskets this year, so let me go through a bit about each of them and these are just some of my favorites.
Firstly you have another icon, the Hershey’s Kiss. The Hershey’s Kiss was actually introduced in 1907 and since then have changed into many different flavors, but never wavering from their iconic shape and design. This Easter I recommend trying the new Vanilla Creme Filled Milk Chocolate. Not only to the wrappers come in vibrant colors of pink, green and purple, but they are so good. Classic milk chocolate. Smooth vanilla crème.
Another great classic is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Egg. My husband goes crazy over Reese’s Products, so they never last long in this house. Covered in smooth milk chocolate and filled with Reese’s signature peanut butter they are just as melt in your mouth worthy as the Cadbury Egg. Not only are they wonderful to eat alone, but many home cooks have used this to produce stunning bake goods. I will have a recipe below for you to check out this Easter.
Along with the Cadbury Egg, Hershey Kisses and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, you will find other wonderful additions to any basket. Including the Whoppers Mini Robin Eggs Candy Carrot. This little carrot is so cute and holds the classic flavor of a whopper, coated with color and specks, making them look like robin eggs. The last product and something I literally eat all year round is the Jolly Rancher Gummies.
As I have said before I am a huge fan of gunnies of any kind. I since have become addicted to the flavor of the Jolly Rancher Gummies over other brands. For Easter this gummies come in cute shapes, adding a bit of their to their already powerful flavor. These vegetable-shaped gummies come in delicious green apple, lemon, orange and cherry flavor.
Any of these products would be perfect this Easter! Like I said before, some of these products make great additions to baked goods this Easter. Below you will find one recipe to use with the Reese’s Peanut butter eggs. It is so cute and I think anyone would get a kick out of them. Hershey’s products can be found at most retail stores, including gas stations and beyond. You can also check out the Hershey’s site, for many other great products this Easter and recipes.[amd-zlrecipe-recipe:5]
