As the weekend draws near and the beer and liquor starts pouring, why not check out a great product that takes no skill whatsoever to make. All you have to do is twist the cap and enjoy. Not long ago Bud Light introduced their new line of MIXXTAIL. Bud Light MIXXTAIL is an 8%* ABV cocktail-inspired beverage available in three flavors – Long Island, Firewalker and Hurricane – that combines the great taste of America’s favorite cocktail flavors with the uniquely smooth and refreshing finish expected from a Bud Light.

For this review I was sent two of each to try and let you all know just what I think. If you follow me on my social media you know that I enjoy a drink every now and then. Trying new drinks is, well, my thing. I have to admit I have never been much of  beer drinker, nor Bud Light, but these seemed to be right up my ally.

Long Island

I have always loved a great Long Island, but it is a chore to really find someone who can make them. I found that this was actually spot on, with a bit more complex flavor and a bit different. In all if you love a Long Island, skip the bartender and head to grab a bottle of Bud Light MIXXTAIL Long Island.

Firewalker

Wowza!! I was a bit afraid to try this one because I have never been much on hot drinks or spicy. But Firewalker is now one of my favorites! I love how they joined the apple and cinnamon. It is very well-rounded and not to over powering. To me it tastes like Apple Pie Moonshine, from the back woods of NC..he he he

Hurricane

In my life I have drank several hurricanes and each on of them is always different. When it comes to this MIXXTAIL, I actually prefer this to the actual drink you might get in a bar. It does have a very nice fruity flavor, that just makes it that much better. It sort of tastes just like Kool-aid, but better 🙂

Each flavor really could have had its own posting they are that good. I would have to say that it is a tie between the Firewater and the Hurricane being my favorites. Both of them are so different, but so very good. I highly recommend checking out any of these Bud Light MIXXTAIL products. Bud Light MIXXTAIL is best served over ice. These drinks will be available in 8-packs of 11.5 oz. recloseable aluminum bottles and single-serve 16 oz. and 25 oz. cans beginning Feb. 16. I love how they come in a recloseable can. I am always drinking something, then I start something else and forget about it. Hence, ending up throwing it away. With these I just seal it up and enjoy the rest later.
