Moto Z2 Play Our First Look And Why It Is Different From The Moto Z Play

Hey there!! I hope that you are well. I must say that I have been looking forward to this posting since I heard about the new Moto Z2 Play launching from Verizon. As most of you know, I adore the Moto Z line of phones to the point where both my husband both switched to Verizon and bought two Moto Z Plays. We both are in love with them, but, if I would have known that the new Z2 was hitting the shelves, I would have waited. Today I wanted to talk to you a little bit of why the new Z2 is different from the original Play and why I feel that it is a better option.

Product Deet At A Glance:

First things first, if you have already purchased mods for you Moto Z phone they still will work the new Moto Z2 Play. They have made many different changes in the new phone, but the actual look of the phone did not change much. If you are looking to purchase some mods head here and see my favorite.

The big difference that I see with the style of the phone is that it is now is an all metal design. I must say that one thing that was not my favorite when it comes to the earlier phones was the glass back. Talk about fingerprints, but this did not affect me from purchasing it for myself.

Moto Z2 Play

Another difference you will notice is that the new Z2 Play is a bit slimmer than the Moto Z Play. This help it to fit in your hand a bit nicer than the older version.

One other thing that you might notice is the fingerprint sensor. On the older version, it was just a square while on the Z2 you have a nice pill shape. Personally, I don’t mind the square, but the oval shape is a bit more modern in my opinion.

Enough battery life & Power That You Need

Again this is totally my opinion, but I feel that the Moto Z2 Play has enough power that you will need. The Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 626 processor With up to 2.2 GHz Octa-Core CPU is enough honestly for any person to do their daily duties on their phone. Being a blogger I use my phone a TON meaning editing videos quickly, images, taking tons of pictures and I have never had a problem at all. I have used the Z2 for a week now, and everything runs smoothly. Even my game that I play (Last Empire War z) loads just fine. The screen is a 5.5″ Full HD sAMOLDED display, so it is brilliant enough for you to get the detail that you are looking for. The right is the Z2 Play.

Ok baby! This right here is a must for any phone that I own, the camera. The 12MP camera with laser autofocus and dual pixel technology lets you take faster, clearer pictures, so you don’t miss the moment. Get everyone in the picture with a wide-angle selfie camera. Get great-looking pictures in any light with a dual-LED flash on the front and back. Below you will find some examples of images that I have taken with the Moto Z2 Play, like the Play that I have I adore the options that the Moto Z line gives you and think the images always come out perfect.

I don’t think those images are bad at all and you have total control over everything in your image just like you would on a DSLR (just about). In all, I just love the entire Moto Z line, but the Z2 Play has certainly stepped up its game. Everything that was changed I really enjoy including the metal casing and making the entire phone a bit more hand friendly. Just like my phone, the Z2 Play can last all day long and then some! The Moto Z2 Play packs a big, 3,000 mAh battery that can keep you powered up all day – up to 30 hours of use time. When it’s time to recharge, the included TurboPower charger can give you eight hours of power in only 15 minutes of charge time.

To check out this phone and the mods head over to Verizon and be sure to look out for a posting soon including new mods coming out. I can’t wait!!
