As most of you know, I just adore tech products. They have to be my total favorite and what I spend most of my money on in life. From computers to the hottest cell phones, I have to have them. This is one thing that my husband really does not like about me, but hey, I want it, so I get it. Last week I had the chance to check out the new Lenovo Pocket Projector and boy is this little thing handy. It is perfect for sharing photos or even streaming videos from your phone on the go.
I am sure that we all have family members that are not online to see all of our amazing photos of the family, but what fun is it to share those photos on a tiny screen like your phone? Not only are they super hard to see sometimes but older family might not be able to see them at all. The Lenovo Pocket Projector is perfect for those moments.
The one thing that makes this projector really stand out from the crowd is that it can be connected in various ways. You can connect through a Micro USB, or wirelessly with DLNA and Miracast. There is also a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) for huge multimedia libraries and a menu that can be controlled with a wireless remote control. This makes it easy for you to share just about anything you can think of!
The display is another thing that really sets this apart. Usually, I find that projectors are very blurred or even seem to display very weird colors. With the Lenovo Pocket Projector, you can see everything, even the littlest detail. This amazing color is due to Vibrant Color Technology, 50-lumen, high-contrast optical engine powered by Texas Instruments’ DLP technology and a triple LED light source.
I was surprised to how small this projector was making it easy to stow and go just about anywhere with you this summer. It comes with a charger and little black bag so that you can tote your new Lenovo Projector with you.
The Lenovo Pocket Projector will rotate up 90°, and the projection auto-corrects for image distortion, which makes this super easy to use. The battery is a rechargeable lithium ion which gives you up to 150 minutes of operation. It does have a little speaker on the side so that your family and friends can hear the video that you are sharing. This does not have the best sound but it does work.
When it comes to the setup, you go through a couple of steps. Since this can be connected in various ways, it really all depends on upon how you want to use your new projector. I used Miracast first which connected easily. I did connect through a Micro USB and wirelessly, which again both worked perfectly. I also used my Macbook to connect and mirror my screen. Everything is just a simple click and connect.
Everything was so easy to do, and I did not have to run to my husband for help, which is saying A LOT!! he he he. If you are looking for a portable projector, I would highly recommend checking this baby out. Easy to use and with a simple set up gives you the freedom to do what you do best and enjoy life. You can purchase this product online for $249.99 on the Lenovo website.
