Help Fight Pet Allergies With Nature’s Miracle

Imagine living in a world where everyone could have a dog! It would be an amazing place. I firmly believe that everyone should own a pet at some point in their life. A few years back I had bought my Lucy girl a new puppy, 11156381_358042071061404_5980459511814801941_nbefore I got her brother Ricky. It was a long-haired dog and very beautiful. To my surprise not only was Lucy literally hating this dog, but I had the worst reaction to it. I contributed it to the dander on the dog. Believe it or not, but dog hair is not an allergen. What happens is the hair harbors the pollen or allergen, which contributes to flair up.

Pet dander is even in homes never occupied by these animals because it is carried on people’s clothing. The allergens get in the air with petting, grooming or stirring the air where the allergens have settled. Once airborne, the particles can stay suspended in the air for long periods of time. Allergies to pets with fur or feathers are common, especially among people who have other allergies or asthma. From 15 percent to 30 percent of people with allergies have allergic reactions to cats and dogs, according to AFAA.

So what if your child wants a pet, but does have a minor reaction to the allergen? Imagine if you would when guests come over, they might have an allergy to your home because of the pet. There are a couple of products I put to the test of the past couple of weeks. They are from Nature’s Miracle. You might be familiar with the Nature’s Miracle brand through their stain and odor remover products. Nature’s Miracle Allergen Blocker uses a non-invasive solution by deactivating the characteristics of a molecule that are recognized as allergens, on contact. Not only do these products help with the allergens, but it also helps deodorize the pet’s coat. BONUS!!

David Carrillo, Vice President of Marketing for Nature’s Miracle, explains the journey behind Allergen Blocker, “We understand the strong bond between pets and families and the struggle for those suffering with pet allergies. Allergen Blocker provides protection from pet allergens in order to improve the lives of pet-loving families everywhere.”

Dog ShampooWhen it comes to the Nature’s Miracle Dog Foaming Shampoo, I loved the way that it left both of my dogs with just a hint of a fresh scent. This product offers in a pump-style foam you simply massage into the coat. Very easy to use. The only thing that I did notice about this product is that it did not lather very well for me. I don’t know why, because I have seen many reviews saying just the opposite. Other than it did not lather, it worked perfectly. leaving the dogs smelling fresh and gave their coat a nice shine.

Dog SprayThe second product that I received was the Dog Spray. This neutralizes dander on contact and breaks down the allergen proteins as well as deodorizes. Having a product that truly deodorizes is a must for me in the summer, allergen blocker or not! he he he. The spray bottle, sprayed the product effortlessly and was easy to control, as to not get it in the dogs eyes. I did find that this product worked very well when it comes to deodorizing the fur babies. They smelled so good! One problem that I find with many spray on products with my pets, is that they have a reaction. Lucy is highly sensitive to many products, but she had no problems with the dog spray or the shampoo. I was very pleased with the results.

Pet WipesThe last product that I received was the Pet Wipes. Again, this works in the same manner as the products above, just in a convenient package. These would be perfect to take with you on vacation, so that you can just pull out a wipe and reduce the allergens or just give your pet a fresh clean scent.

So now you want to know if it really worked with helping to reduce the pet dander and allergens. It sure did! When I had my BBQ over the weekend I invited two people over that have always had problems with my pups, the did say that they did not feel as stuffy and did not sneeze as much. The one girl always has a little breakout around her eyes, and this did not happen at all! I am very impressed with the results of these products and how well they worked. What I did is shampoo the dogs on Monday and kept them fresh and allergen free throughout the week by using the wipes and the spray. You can purchase these products in a number, of places including Amazon and Pet’s Smart. Nature’s Miracle offers not only these products, but many more including carpet shampoo.  I highly recommend checking them out if you would like to reduce and eliminate pet allergens. With a staggering statistic of  15 percent to 30 percent of people with allergies have allergic reactions to cats and dogs, you really can’t go wrong trying these products out.
