My belly health is very important to me, because of so many reasons. I have been sick for over four years now, losing weight, unable to eat right. When I find products that possibly can help me get this under control, I am all for trying them out. Not only for my benefit, but so that I can let you know just how it worked.
It is true what you eat and drink have so much to do with your overall health, so it is important that you give your body what it needs. It can be challenging getting the proper probiotic daily and that is where GoodBelly steps in. It’s dairy and soy free, GMO-free, vegan, Kosher, and organic. There’s even a gluten-free variety for Celiacs and those of you on gluten-free diets. They offer a drink that can either come in a carton or in shot form, if your own the go. You can find this product at many locations using their store finder.
So what is different about GoodBelly?
GoodBelly probiotic drinks contain live and active cultures of the probiotic strain, Lactobacillus plantarum 299v(LP299V®). This particular strain was chosen out of many, due to more than 16 well-documented research trials that show its ability to promote healthy digestion. Lactobacillus plantarum 299v can be found naturally in the intestinal system, and may help promote healthy digestion when consumed daily as part of a nutritious diet and healthy lifestyle. GoodBelly is a food product and not a treatment or cure for any medical disorder or disease. If you have any concerns about your digestive system, please consult your healthcare professional.
The LP299V probiotic strain:
- Has the ability to survive the stomach’s harsh acidic environment in order to set up shop in your intestine.
- Has been used by millions of people safely for two decades.
- Was initially used by gastroenterologists in Sweden to help their patients recover from surgery.
Day Two Diary:
Today is the second day of the 12 day challenge and I am super excited to share my results once a week after this post. This morning I drank the 8 oz of the Mango GoodBelly probiotic. I was a bit scared to be honest because most probiotic drinks, I have had, taste just nasty!!! This was a very nice change. It has a very smooth mango flavor and is very easy to drink right down.
The first day I did not really notice anything different, but today I do find that things are moving. One of the many problem that I have when it comes to my bowls is that I have pelvic floor dysfunction. If you suffer from this, you know how hard it came be to use the bathroom. Not getting to graphic, but it has to be the most challenging thing in my life. Most people naturally go, me, I don’t. I have to take about five different medications as well as a tea, to even begin to go to the bathroom. Since I started this challenge I wanted to see if it would really help in such a drastic way, so I have stopped taking my medications and tea for the 12 days. If this does not work, trust me I have gone a lot longer without going, so I am not worried. Today on day two, is a huge mile marker for me. I actually went to the bathroom this morning!! I need to mark this amazing date on the calendar. he he he. I went without having to take the pills or teas!
According to their 12 day Belly Reboot, your stomach might start grumbling on day two.
GoodBelly is formulated for daily digestive health.* Some people start feeling the happy effects of GoodBelly quickly. Others may experience a slight increase in mild gas, bloating or irregularity during the first few days as they adjust to a new probiotic regimen. This could be the Good Bacteria doing their job of displacing the bad bacteria in your intestines — and it’ll pass (pun intended). You can always drink half a serving and gradually build to full steam.
So far I have not felt sick to my stomach by drinking GoodBelly, which is a huge plus! I will continue to update you every couple of days on my journey. If you would like to take the GoodBelly 12 Day Belly Reboot with me, head on over and sign up. After signing up you are offered a coupon for buy 2, get one free. This will last you the entire challenge.
