Happy early Valentines Day! I hope everyone is excited to share the day with their partners. I know I look forward to Valentines Day. One thing that I always try to have is a wonderful dessert for when we come home from dinner. Even if you stay home and cook a nice meal, you still need something easy to make to end the dinner. Personally, I don’t want to spend my entire evening in the kitchen, baking. That is where The Piping Gourmets Whoopie Pies come in.
I have never heard of this company before this review and so happy that I found them. I have been nibbling on the Gluten-Free Chocolate Raspberry Whoopie Pie as I type this posting. It is so yummy! The best part about this whoopie pie is that it is gluten-free and dairy free, for those of you that might have an allergy to certain foods. They are free of Wheat, Soy, Milk, Eggs, Peanuts and Tree Nuts. *Their facility are free of Soy, Wheat, Dairy and Peanuts. However they do share equipment with products that contain Tree Nuts and Eggs. While they do test to confirm that there is no presence of proteins on our equipment, they suggest that families with severe allergies to Tree Nuts and Eggs use caution.
Like the website says, as soon as I opened the package, the sweet aroma of raspberries danced around me. The whoppie pies themselves come in a package of four, individually wrapped pies. Perfect so if it just the two of you no need to waste the rest. They are ready to eat out of the package! They are frozen, but take little time to thaw out. Don’t want to wait? You can enjoy them frozen as well.
I really enjoyed The Piping Gourmets Whoopie Pies. The only suggestion that I would have if you want to make a great presentation, is to slowly take them out of the package. I had a hard time with mine sticking to the wrapper. Then again, I have sever tremors in my hands, so that was not helping at all. They still look beautiful! You can spruce them up a bit and make a raspberry sauce to drizzle on the plate, or simple cut up some fresh raspberries. This product can be found in at couple locations and I suggest looking at their site, on the store locator page. I actually found mine at EarthFare in Boone, North Carolina.
In my product postings, most of the products have been received free for my honest review. I will always give my honest opinion. All images and posts are property of Hello Betty.
