DIY Frozen Yogurt Bites Your Way (Thanks Dad)

By

Since summer is coming, I wanted to start sharing easy treat and dinner recipes with you all. Earlier today I shared this amazing Grilled Cheese with pork and cole slaw, and now I would like to share these little goodies with you. My father actually called me last night and said you have to make these Yogurt Bites because they are perfect to just pop in your mouth and go. So I did just that, with my own little twist of course and BAM! I fell in love.

How To Make Your Own Yogurt Bites

Since these are frozen, they are the perfect treat in the summer. I used one of my favorite Yogurts that actually comes with tasty little treats already attached to them, the Light and Fit GreekCrunch Strawberry Cheesecake. LOVE that stuff. You can use whatever yogurt and little bites you would like such as fruit, cookie crumbles, and sprinkles.

What You Need:

  • Two small containers of Light & Fit Greek Crunch
  • Ziplock bag (if you don’t have piping bags)
  • Wax Paper
  • Paper Plate (or something you can put the wax paper on to freeze)

All you need to do is open the containers of yogurt and put them into the ziplock bag or into your piping bag. Next, if you are using a ziplock bag simply cut the end so that you can easily squeeze some out. Make little bite sized rounds with the yogurt. You can be creative and make them any shape you would like.

For the Frozen Yogurt Bites with the sprinkles, I added the sprinkles before the yogurt went into the freezer so that they would stick.

I left them in the freezer overnight, but it should just take about an hour and a half to freeze.

The second set that I made I just added a bit of fruit and the topping from the Light & Fit Greek Crunch Strawberry Cheesecake. Now, these ended up being my favorite. The strawberry and raspberry go perfectly with the little bits and white chocolate.

These are the perfect easy treat this summer for the entire family, and I do hope that you try to make some. The sky is the limit, and even the kids could help you do this and top your frozen bites. Enjoy my friends.
