Ciao Bella: The Best Way To End A Long Day

By

We all have them, those days that feel like they just will never end. Running around with the kids and on top of all that working. When school starts, there are so many socials and sports activities to add on top of everything else. What if I told you there was a way just to sit and relax, even with your kids? Ciao Bella was founded in 1983 when they first started making gelato and sorbetto based on family Italian recipes.

Ciao Bell

These little pints of goodness are straight out of a fairytale. I choose to try two of their flavors one being a gelato and the other a sorbetto. I am happy to say that I totally love both of them. Being a huge fan of gelato and sorbetto, I was looking for texture, and that can’t find taste anywhere else. With Ciao Bella, I did find both of what I was looking for.

Ciao Bella Gelato

Gelato is a creamy, much denser than ice cream when it comes to consistency, and that is one thing that I love about gelato. I tried out the Ciao Bella Bourbon Caramel Chocolate, which is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The creamy gelato melted in your mouth, leaving you with just the most fulfilled feeling. The bourbon flavor helped to complete the caramel and chocolate chunks. It is not overly sweet but packs the right amount of punch to give you that feeling that you might have just committed a little sin just by eating a spoonful.

Just like the gelato the sorbetto is sinful. I have not eaten much sorbetto in my life, maybe only once or twice and it must not have been very memorable. Finding great Italian style gelato and sorbetto in the supermarket is very difficult, specifically if you are looking for an authentic experience.

sorbetto

The Ciao Bella Sorbetto that I chose to try was the Bartlett Pear Hibiscus. Some people at this point are thinking “Hibiscus”? Really? That is right. This flavor is really unlike anything I have tasted. The Bartlett Pear is literally swirled through the hibiscus sorbetto, giving it a sweet, yet tart taste. The combination is perfectly balanced and really leaves you wanting more!

If you are looking for a fun after-school treat for you and your family, try taking the Bartlett Pear Hibiscus sorbetto and combining it with sprite! The Ciao Bella products are something you will not want to miss out on. They come in a variety of flavors sure to put that wow back in your mouth with every bite. You can find a list of all of their product online at Ciao Bella. I would recommend checking out Ciao Bella, and I am excited to try out more flavors that they have.
