Howdy, everyone! As you all know I will just be posting three times a week now due to my busy schedule of going back to school and learning to code. Yet, this will not stop me from sharing the things that I love with you and today I wanted to show you all three new mods that are compatible with the Moto Z line of products. As most of you know I adore the Moto Z phones particularly because I can purchase mods to make them a bit more fun and really go above and beyond what most phones can do.
The Moto Z line and new Moto Mods are available on Verizon, the perfect network that gives you what you what and knows how to provide the perfect plan for just about everyone. I am going to link my posts below just in case you missed out on the Moto Z Force, Moto Z2 Play and other mod reviews I have done. I think all of these are great posts to help you decide if the Moto Z is right for you and which mods you should get.

A Mod For Every Lifestyle
What I love most about the Moto Z line and their Mods is that you really can find something that is suitable for your lifestyle. Just because something works perfectly for me does not mean that it will satisfy your needs as well. This makes the mods the perfect accessory your own individual needs and style.
When it comes to my personal needs and style I tend to stick with the mods that have to do with taking the perfect images such as the Hasselblad and the new 360 Camera! I share a ton on social media and now that they have started to allow us to upload 360 photos and videos I wanted something that was super simple to use. I don’t want to have to take the video on one camera, upload it to another program on the computer to format and then upload it to social. Pain in the butt!
The 360 Camera makes it super simple to just point, shoot and upload. It also has the ability to share Live Facebook feeds with your friends and family. One other thing that I love about this mod is that instead of fumbling with the front of the camera to take a picture you can simply use the button on the back. Super cool right?!
There are three modes you can use: Photo, Ultra-wide Angle, and Professional Mode. This gives you so many options when using this camera feature. The Ultra-wide angle captures a 180-degree photo with just one of the two cameras. The Professional Mode lets you take a 360-degree photo while adjusting settings like the ISO, white balance, and so on.
- capture the feeling: Shoot interactive 360° video, audio, and images in a snap
- 360° 4K video + 3D sound: Relive the moment in Ultra HD with immersive sound
- edit on the go: Edit photos and videos with advanced software—right on your phone
- 150° ultra wide-angle views: Add a whole new perspective to your selfies and snapshots
- click to share: Sends to friends or straight to social media, right from the Google Photos app
- go live: Live stream in 360° to your social network
- plays well with others: Moto 360 Camera is compatible with any phone in the Moto Z Family
Maybe You Enjoy Music? Check Out The Soundboost 2
So if capturing the perfect image is not something you are interested in, maybe some music to get you through the long days. I adore listening to music every chance that I get. You might have seen my posting about the Soundboost Moto Mod which has become a runner up when it comes to which mods I personally need in my life.
The new Soundboost 2 has a couple of qualities that I like above the Soundboost. The first noticeable quality is that the speaker itself is no longer wrapped in plastic but actually fabric. I think they did this to give it a better sound and style. Which I do like.
I will be honest here when saying that I was a bit worried that it was wrapped in fabric because of the fact that I am very hard on my phone. Accidents happen right? One thing that the Soundboost 2 offers is that it is actually protected by a coating. This coating can protect from some accidents such as light spills or rain.
The back of the Soundboost 2, like the original Soundboost, has your port that you can recharge your speaker. The Soundboost two will also recharge when it is attached to your phone and your phone is fully charged. I really have never used the USB TYPE-C connector on the back of my original Soundboost because I alway let it charge from the phone.
One other thing that JBL has rolled out for the SoundBoost is a new app called the My JBL Soundboost 2. The main feature of this is that you have total control over the equalizer of the speaker through six presets, Normal, Metal, Pop, Jazz, Classical, or Rock. I still think that you have more options to control the sound of the speaker through your phone itself but I do think that they will be updating this so that you can actually make custom presets to your liking.
- High–quality JBL audio
- Integrated kickstand
- No pairing necessary
- Snaps on to your compatible device
- 1000mAh rechargeable battery for up to 10 hours of music
- Allows for hands-free calls using a built-in speakerphone
Moto Z GamePad
The last mod that I would like to chat about is the Moto Z GamePad and I think this should round out just about every person or need that you might have. Like the Soundboost 2 for music lovers and 360 Camera for social media gurus, the GamePad brings gaming to life through your Moto Z phone and perfect for gammers. Again going, to be honest here that I am not much of a gamer when it comes to my phone. I play one game daily and that is Last Empire War Z but the GamePad is really not something I would use for this game.
Features of the GamePad:
- 8 hours of battery life
- Dual analog sticks
- Four action buttons: A, B, X and Y
- Directional pad
- Four shoulder buttons
- L3D and R3D plus home, select and start buttons
- 1035-mAh battery
- 140 grams
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 226×75.9x 24.4 mm
The one thing that I do love about the GamePad is that you don’t have to worry about connecting via Bluetooth. If you know anything about mods there is no need to connect anything. You simply slap this GamePad on the back of the phone and ta-da it works! The charging connection again is on the back of the mod, but it will also charge through your phone when it has a full charge.
I know that this is a really long posting but I wanted to make sure that you find that right Moto Z Mod for your lifestyle. You can find all the Moto Z Mods and phones at Verizon and I must say you will not break the bank purchasing these. I personally have bought the Hasselblad, Soundboost, and just this week the 360 Camera. Verizon just sends me these to demo and I usually go out and buy them, a huge downfall of working in blogging 😉 You have to buy what you like. I just wanted to state that little fact in case you are thinking that I just blog about the Moto Z line and Mods because I get them for free. This is just not the case. These all go back to Verizon once I am finished. So in all honesty, Verizon and the Moto Z line of mods and phones is something that I have grown to love and I know you will as well.
In my product postings, most of the products have been received free for my honest review. I will always give my honest opinion. All images and posts are property of Hello Betty.
